Pastor Peace Akingunsoye

Senior Pastor

Pastor Peace Akingunsoye is an Anointed Preacher of the Word, Prophet, Prolific Writer and seasoned Evangelist whom God has been using mightily to liberate souls from the bondage of sin and the devil.

He is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Freedom Apostolic Ministry (CAFAM). He has served in various ministries and capacities. He was ordained a Pastor at Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), where he served as Head of Deliverance School. Also as the Outreach Director of CLAM Global Outreach (CLAMGO) and doubled as an interpreter to the Set-Man. He has been opportune to minister under his Father-in-the-Lord, Pastor Wole Oladiyun, in different parts of the world. He also served the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) as Youth Minister, Revivalist and Evangelist. He was privileged to be a minister of God at CAC “Ori-Oke Baba Abiye” Edo Prayer Mountain and Dean of Student Affairs at Christ Pillar Bible Institute of the same “Ori-Oke Baba Abiye” Edo, for several years and as well served faithfully at other missions.

He has a degree in Mathematics/Statistics and PGD in Theology. He is the coordinator of “Iron Sharpeneth Iron” Fellowship of Ministers (ISIFEM), and has authored several fast selling books.

He is happily married to Pastor (Mrs.) Funmilayo Akingunsoye (Nee Atunwa) and the marriage is blessed with Prophetic children. They reside in Lagos.

How the Ministry Started

Calvary Freedom Apostolic Ministry (CAFAM) is a ministry known for deliverance, prayers, word, evangelism and revival. Her vision is to liberate the world through the word and prayer. (Isaiah 61: 1-3)

The ministry started as a fellowship in the year 2000, at Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State, Western Nigeria. It was then solely on deliverance and counselling before it metamorphosed to a full-fledged ministry with the name Dominion Crusaders Ministry, which is now renamed CALVARY FREEDOM APOSTOLIC MINISTRY.

The ministry began fully in the year 2004 in a dilapidated building at Ibadan. Bey the leading of the Holy Spirit, the founder in person of Pastor Peace Akingunsoye and his wife Pastor (Mrs) Funmi Akingunsoye (In her blessed memory) was instructed by God in 2008/2009 to relocate to Lagos to continue the ministry with the instruction to serve as a disciple under the leadership of Apostle Wole Oladiyun, which took four years.

The ministry took another shape after being released and commissioned by our father in the Lord with the name CALVARY FREEDOM APOSTOLIC MINISTRY (CAFAM), in a rented facility at 44 Iju Road, Agege, Lagos, before moving to 33 Olaniyi Road, Abule-Egba in the year 2015. Finally, the ministry moved to the current location under a damming and embarrassing condition which God turned around in the year 2018 to His glory.

The building project started far back as 2019 and is today 26 December, 2025 dedicated to the glory of God.
